I just read Mr. Porter is going to be the speaker at tomorrow's meeting. Great timing. I need to talk to him about a rock guard before I get in trouble.

My family and I are going to be there and my girls are ready to win some raffle prizes.

Who else is going?

I hope I can make it, Ken, but I doubt I'll get in from NC in time for the meeting. Props (literally) to Waivel Porter thought. :smt038 He fixed my propeller last week after I hit a rock in the "garden". No doubt the rock guard saved me a lower unit.

Sorry for being so late posting this anouncement, but I was waiting until the last minute to confirm our guest speaker.

The always - entertaining Mr. Waivel Porter will be joining us this evening for the NFGFC meeting at Beef O Brady's on Thomasville Rd. at 7:00 pm. Waivel is always full of great advice on fishing, rock guards, outboard repair and a host of other related topics.

Please join us if you can for good food, fellowship, and fishing stories. As always, we will also have some great raffle prizes and an update on the NFGFC tournaments.

Hope to see all of you there.

Thanks to Bill Mickler for stepping in at the last moment and running the NFGFC meeting for me. My family and I are currently in Dothan, AL. with my Father in Law (Lomax Polston) who is not doing so well. Hopefully, things will improve today and Andrew and I can make it back for the tournament.

Please keep Mr. Polston in your prayers.

Thanks again to those who stepped in to help out with the NFGFC meeting.

Sorry I couldn't stick around. I'm sure Mr. Porter offered some great tips. He knows his stuff. And Bill wields a mean gavel, I know.

Prayers to your family, Steve. Hoping for a speedy recovery.
