I HAVE BEEN USING THE GARMIN HANDHELD GPS FOR ABOUT 5 YRS. NOW AND IT HAS BEEN GREAT UNTIL THE LAST TRIP AND THEN IT DIED, WENT DOWN TO WALLY MART AND GOT ANOTHER ONE, ONLY PROBLEM WAS LOOSING ALL OF MY WAY POINTS WHEN THE OLD ONE DIED.

I agree with Pa. My favorite GPS I own is a 5 year old Garmin. It's been a good one.

Garmin 76 series.....older ones are more user friendly in my experience!

I'm on second one with extreme pitting of the faceplate...no problem at night but makes it harder and harder to read in daylight. Anyone have any ideas?
