Got out at 6:30ish. The wind was considerably stronger than forecast. Headed east to just past Palmetto Island. I was able to fool this 22" Red around 7:30.

The rain started around 8:00. A quick look at the radar showed a major squall line heading my way. I decided to head south to wait it out, but after being nearly hit by lightning and even feeling the heat from it, I decided the hill was the place to be.

We put in right behind you i guess. Also had the idea to head south enough to miss it but that didnt work. We got caught right in the middle of the first line that came through. After that we went back out and caught a few short trout and baby sharks. Saw a huge cobia but he wouldn't take anything we threw at him. Left after the 2nd lone came through.

Dang Jim, where were you? We put in at the lighthouse at 6:30 and pulled out at 8:30. I wish I knew you were there, I would have let you bought my breakfast at savanah's.
