Made the mistake one time of bringing all my rods and reels in house once so I could pull all the reels off the rods and clean them. Don't ever do this. Never thought I would hear the end of that one.

You can always tell the other half that you are taking some in for friends to have Reel Repair by Jim service them. That way she won't be shocked at how many you have. I am certain they will believe that.

Of course, you could have another half that is as or more addicted to fishing than you are. My favorite reel broke a couple of weeks ago and had to send the other half to go get a better replacement for me (I hate to shop and he loves to shop). Works great! Wanted a couple new lures and he got those as well.

I got one of those better half's too... Just sucks when she puts bigger and more fish in the box than me
