Was doing a bit of research on this reef. Looks like there might be a lot of structure out there. Anybody fish this reef lately? How big an area does the structure cover? Any info would be appreciated.

Is there another name for oar 165? Is it in franklin or wakulla county?

Yeah these are a couple of reef pyramids out of st marks. Last time I was there there was a marker on one of the pyramids. I would say at the largest they are 10 ft in diameter with maybe 6 ft relief. Not huge but definite rock bottom. The barge off of marker 24 holds fish pretty good also.

Oar is between Dog Ballard and the barge off of marker 24 and east of the Schoals.

I'm surprised there's not more because according to my research a ton and I mean tons of concrete culverts, boats and other stuff has been dropped out there over a several year period.

I must have missed that??? Have you been to Dog Ballard. That is a larger reef near shore.

Went out there on Saturday. Water was very stained. Caught some good size Spanish Mac.

I stand corrected concerning this reef there are six groups of pyramids on this reef per OAR dive team member.
