Due south to "Capt." Paul's numbers. Nice bottom contour and structure. Hit 70 feet of water. Water temp 63 degrees. Water calm and clear, EXCEPT IT HAD POLLEN ON IT!
There, and couple of other spots, yeilded short red grouper, maybe 5 of 'em. Paul got a real nice snapper
, but out of season.
Brought home a nice trigger fish and sea bass. I learned what great eatin' fish those are. The former is, I found on the internet, one of the many things called "the poor man's lobster."
It was a beautiful first day of spring and a great day to be out there after 'em!
