I have a used Penn 850SSM Reel with 7' Heavy Action (15-40 lb) Ugly Stick rod (Model #BWS1102) for sale.

Used for the past 3 seasons as a flat line for kings while bottom fishing. Awesome combo - just not fishing much offshore anymore.

Cosmetically the reel is an 8/10 with slight boat rash on the metal spool and slight discoloration on one side of the bail. The rod is in excellent condition and I'd give it an 9.5/10.

I have had this reel professionally serviced annually since I bought it. Mechanically it is a 10/10.

New this rod and reel combo retails for $210 plus tax and/or shipping if you buy it online.

Asking $150 OBO. (Paypal or cash FTF).

Not looking to trade for any gear at this time.

All shipping at buyers cost (will be charged actual shipping plus I will heavily package the rod in a PVC tube for safe transport).

I prefer to sell to someone local to the Tallahassee or surrounding coastal areas but I do travel along I-10 from Tallahassee to Jacksonville and up I-95 to Brunswick, GA fairly regularly so I can meet someone along that route.
