I fished East of St. Marks yesterday, down toward Grey Mare. It is still very dark there and fairly tough fishing. We ended up with 7 keeper trout and two reds.

Yes, it is taking a long time for the water to clear up. I believe this is still remnants from Debbie as well as all the rain we received this year. I think Debbie started it by filling the water table. The subsequent rain had nowhere to go after that, except to run off. As the bay is the last spot in the run off chain AND we do not get much current from the Gulf Stream in our area of Apalachee Bay, it is taking longer than usual for the water to clear.
I think time is the only thing that will remedy this situation.
