Finally got around to installing my Hummingbird SI on the Big O...played around with it today.
Found this near the Hathaway bridge in 22 ft of water....I'm gonna hit something watching the screen like a video game.
Note the bait balls before & after the object - think it is a small boat or some bridge construction debris

Chalk, that is cool. Wish I'd had one of those critters back in the 1990's when I was fishing Bass tournaments. I've fished a couple time at the Hathaway Bridge. Caught some nice Mangrove Snappers there. Heard there is some pretty good Redfishing there at certain times. Think they might congregate on your "boat or bridge debris" you discovered?
Like me trying to run on plane, while looking at a hand held GPS. Just ain't made for old, tired eyes like mine.

Call me when you come back to town..we will take a spin in the Big O
Another pic from today - fishing calendar said today would be better than yesterday. It didn't take into account 12 hour tides changing at 2 and high pressure....if I was graded on a sight casting presentation...I would have gotten A's on some of the casts today...the reds didn't want nothing to do with it...should have been fishing with prozac
