What months is it when the big reds run the cut at SGI?

What do you catch them on? Pinfish, cut mullet???

Drifted a boat through the cut last weekend. Dragging frozen cigar minnows on / near the bottom with the current. Light lines / 1 oz slip weights. 3 Lines all hooked up every pass while the current was flowing (out). Caught oversized Reds and an occasional black bass. Never been on a trip where I had to throw back all my fish for being too large!!! Had to go back to the beach for whiting for dinner.

I would think any fresh cut bait. I have never caught one of those bulls, it would be fun.

Very large torpedo shaped bull reds enter the East Pass on incoming tide in late October and they love them some pinfish.
