It seems I've developed a small leak somewhere around my middle bench seat. How do you fellas recommend finding and fixing the leak? I was going to put some water in it and wait to see if I could find the leak. What do yall think? Its an 03 Alumacraft 1436.

Filling with water works best.
You have a missing or loose rivet.
Use the TinCan repair method of repair.
After finding the leak, look under the hood of your truck to find and remove a screw slightly larger then the hole in the boat.
Chew a piece of gum.
Apply the gum to the screw and screw it in.

I've used cabela's aluminum boat patch many time.
Works great.
Or get new solid aluminum rivets and 3m5200

The method JT has described was used at 0900 on the morning, during a tournament. It is not recommended as a permanent fix. However, it got us back on the water and we finished the tournament.
If it's a riveted boat, I drill the old rivet out, if it's still there, and replace it with a 1/4 x 1" stainless machine screw, along with some 5200. I install the screw from the outside, add a stainless washer and nilock nut on the inside. Problem solved.

Dont knock it till you try it guys. I have a shamwow in the back of the jon for a bilge pump. It'll make you say WOW every time! Soak it up, wring it out, repeat. Doesn't run the battery down either.
I took two hammers (one on each side of the rivet) and whacked them back tight. no more leaking water from the inside of the boat. I went to West Marine and picked up some G/Flex, but I think I'm going to return it and replace the rivets with 1/4-20 stainless bolts.
