Shepsters and Bulls

Post by Reel Slow »

Havent posted in a long while but thought this was worth sharing:

A week or so ago we took two boats (captn's Bud and Ganesh) in search of some bulls and with some luck found a few to cooperate. Landed 3 and had 4 more hooked up. Lots of follows. They were hunting in packs and eating topwater as well making for some fantastic action.

I even lucked into one:

Went back a week later to dirty water and headed inshore to find sumpin and found some cooperative sheephead tailing in the creeks and on bars caught a good number. Was very visual with them pinning fly to the mud. A rare day to find Sheepies so cooperative:

Plus a few of these lil guys

All in all a great trip! Even better as all I did was show up and fish

Do a search on ReelSlow reports.
You will see he and his partner are very accomplished fishermen.
They do not identify their fishing holes for obvious reasons.
