Glad you're a man on the mend rather than a "man on the run."
Confucius say: age before beauty...and they heal slower!
I say you've got more to say....worthwhile....with one hand than a covey of liberals with two hands and running off at both ends!

Had the same experience a few years back. Not fun. It will pass.

Only took me 5 days.

My cousin had the same thing done last week on Monday. Grandson came over to get his deer meat and was ask to help casterate a bull calf. In the process, cousin was knocked on the ground, on the shoulder that was operated on and it HURT. Thursday, I found out his problem, call to see what help he needed. Only thing was a bottle of Mag Citrate to help with your same problem. It worked! He's now on the mend.
Don't know if you'll be any better fisherman when this is over but you'll sure be able to fish with more enjoyment.
Hope to read some more good fish catching post very soon!

What does shoulder surgery have to do with the other problem?
Is your azz really on your shoulders?

Jumptrout51: Your question reminds me of the tied tongue country boy who went to town and bought a new set of clothes from a hunch back salesman. His thoughts were the same as your question. The answer may be that the trama, med and procedure triggers a constipation problem? Doesn't have anything to do with body part location.

Get well soon Waldo. Your regularity will return before your shoulder heals.

I'm going with the pain meds. Assuming they prescribed opioids( ie hydrocodone, oxycodone, tramadol). They cause wicked constipation. Take those stool softeners for sure. Good luck
