Aucilla 12-8

Got there about 7:30. Tried numerous spots with not much love. Came off the water about 2 PM, never saw the sun all day. Damp and foggy...Ended up with 7 keeper trout and 0 Red's. Not the best day but really enjoyed being out there. Fishing was very slooowwww. Got home safely, and that's a good day every time.

Thanks for the report. It stayed foggy here until around ten. Not a bad day at all!

7 Keeper trout is way better than 0 trout.
I have not even been fishing since August.

I FEEL SO SORRY FOR YOU PORE BOYS THAT HAVE NOT BEEN FISHING SINCE AUGUST, SEPT., OCT. NOV., IT HAS BEEN A YEAR SINCE THE OLD MAN OF THE SEA HAS EVEN SEEN THE GULF. WENT 1 TIME LAST YEAR AND CAUGHT 1 SMALL TROUT ON THAT TRIP. I AM GONNA HAVE TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT THIS. I ONLY GOT A FEW MORE YRS. LEFT TO DO ANYTHING, JUST SEEMS WHEN I AM FEELING GOOD ENOUGH TO GO THE WEATHER GOES SOUTH ON ME, WHEN THE WEATHER IS GREAT THE OLD MAN JUST CAN GET AROUND, AIN'T NO BED OF ROSES GETTIN OLD.

I remember back in the 80's a many a time we would sit in what we called the ditch @ Aucilla and fill 4 48 qt coolers in a dayo you know im getting Old now Pa
