Daughter's First Duck

Opened the second duck season phase on a hunt with son (26) and daughter (20) which was a rare treat. She has hunted with me a few times over the years since she was little, and shot coots a few times. Well, she is interested in duck hunting now and was after her first ever.
We saw mostly a Buffleheads where we were Saturday, but that didn't matter at all. She got a hen in the dekes and we were all beaming from ear to ear. She has gotten a late start but better than never.
Barry -- good to see you at the ramp, Sorry we ran off so fast but the no-see-ums were killing us. I know you will enjoy the girls' first ducks but you'll have to wait a little.
