PVC Tiller extension for an outboard??

Anyone made an extension for their tiller handle outboard?
I was thinking about trying some PVC like I see the oystermen in appalach use.

Other suggestions?

I looked at that one but the motor is a 50HP so i think stretching it from 15 is a little much to ask!

By law, you can only use a PVC tiller extension while wearing white rubber boots. Don't get caught being an outlaw! :smt005 :smt005

I have one I made out of PVC and use a rubber coupler to attach it to my handle, works great about 2 foot long

I'm going to try a fiber glass shovel. (the handle, of course.) I got at ACE for around $13.00
