If you are looking for a good organization to get involved with, that supports severely injured veterans, then please consider getting involved with the Warriors And Quiet Waters Southern Chapter. The Chapter is taking shape and we welcome any volunteers who would like to help support this worthy cause. The WQW Foundation was developed in Bozeman, Mt. as a means to help injured service men and women adjust to their new challenges, etc. The Mt. Chapter base their efforts on bringing these warriors to Mt. for fly fishing ventures that allow them to develop new skills that will help these individuals overcome some of their challenges, all the while allowing them to learn a new skill. The Warriors and Quiet Waters Southern Chapter, which is based out of Wakulla County, will bring injured service men and women to the Gulf Coast to enjoy flats and inland fishing with the same goal of helping these individuals overcome some of their challenges, all the while learning a new skill. We will host our first set of warriors the first week in May. They will fish our local waters and explore some of the natural beauties offered in our neck of the woods. Each warrior will also go home with a complete set of fishing gear, so that they can keep their fishing passion going, while they continue to rehabilitate from their injuries. This is a non-profit organization that does not pay "administrative overhead", we are a bunch of local volunteers that want to give back to those that have already given to us. Please take a moment and check out our webpage (which is still in development stage, but is at a point that we can release it) at: http://fishingwithwarriors.org Or if you are on Facebook, please check out our Facebook Page and be sure to give us a "like" if you want to be kept up to date on the events relative to this Chapter, i.e. we'll be having a couple of fishing tourney's, a golf tournament, etc. The Facebook Page can be found at: http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Warrio ... 13?fref=ts

Lastly, a video about the Warriors and Quiet Waters Foundation can be found at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZ-CbXui2JA

As it stands now, there are only two Chapters, the original in Bozeman, Mt. and now the Southern Chapter here in our area.

Thanks for taking a look, if you want to share the webpage, Facebook page, or video, please feel free to do so, and naturally, if you want to get involved, just let us know.

Take care,

Chris
