I renewed my registrations (all of them ) and this year the trailer registration isn't just the little yellow sticker which you apply to the tag... it's the big orange (3x5?) sticker that you stick onto the trailer body itself. Identical to the one you would stick on the side of your boat hull. I don't know if it's a new policy for 2013 or what. Anyone have any insight?

Just leave the boat strapped to the trailer when you go fish.
Actually,I have seen people do this.

I know somebody that lag bolted his boat to his trailer- boat sank!

I am 99% sure I got this right. The boat and trailer are in the shop so I will confirm when I get the rig back in a couple of weeks. If anyone else renews in January please chime-in on what they send you. Thanks.

That can't be right. Sounds like you need to make another trip to the Tax Collector. I bet they accidentally printed it on the wrong kind of sticker.

My Trailer was the little one and the big Orange one was for side of Boat on the bow

I just renewed (all 6) and only received the regular little yellow ones for the tags and one bigguns for the boats

My boat only has one big one on the left, port side.

The Big sticker goes on your port (left) side of your bow, over last years sticker. The LCTC usually places/sticks the small sticker(w/numbers) in the middle of the big sticker. You should get another small one with numbers on it for your trailer license plate. Got mine this month...

The numbers are identical. You can't pull that little yellow sticker off of the big orange sticker. I sent an email to the Tax Collector's office.

just renewed in Sept Luke and I didn't get one of those.
