The March tournament in Keaton Beach is always a great one. Some huge bags of fish are weighed each year, and there is a fish fry / party for those who go down on Friday evening. The Keaton Beach Marina is one again allowing Club members to reserve a room for only one night instead of the entire weekend, and rooms are booking quickly. Book your rooms now, the roll call page and fish fry page will each be up shortly.

NORTH FLOIRDA GULF FISHING CLUB meeting is March 7th in advance of the March 16th tournament. Capt. Pat McGriff will share tips for fishing in the Keaton Beach area. Anyone that has heard him speak will want to attend. He willingly shares his knowlege and is quite entertaining in his presentation. Please join us on the 7th, join the club (not mandatory to attend meeting) and fish with us on the 16th.

Are we still having the fish fry this year? I havent seen a page for it yet.

What do ya'll want to bring? A deep frier and grill will probably be the most important.

I'll bring venison burger and some plates.

Everybody let us know what you plan to bring and we'll fill in any gaps as necessary.

I can bring plenty of sausage to throw on the grill...we have hogs so its real not from the store

Bass boys will bring a gallon of grease and corn meal. Put Huey down for 2 big bags of fries.

Anything I can bring let me know. Maybe some cups and some sweet tea?

I think we usually have deli sandwiches at KB weigh-in. Since JT appears to be completely dependent upon the dole, Matt and I will make get everyone some cold-cuts and sandwich makings.

Where's the club cooking gear?

Looks like maybe we should just settle for hamburgers and hotdogs Friday night, much easier less messy with all the grease and everything. I've talked to a couple of members and they thought that would be a good idea. My .02 Please chime in on this.

That was my thought initially as well, but I do like fried foods. It would do away with fries, hushpuppies and/or fish if no deep frier.

I think JT has the Club's cooking supplies in the trailer. I have most of this stuff personally, but Matt and I are nearing the capacity of having to drive both trucks....
