The wife and I a new family member yesterday. She is a super cute black English cocker pup. She is very curious and has her nose in everything. She will be a pet, but I may take her to the dove field from time to time. We are having a hard time coming up with the right name. If anyone has any good ones that they don't mind sharing, I'd love to hear em. I'll post pics when the light gets better and I can take some. Thanks

Thanks Jim I like it. Brian, we got her from Ed Epp( manager at horseshoe). He's the man when it comes to English cockers. I'm pretty sure he was the first around to bring cockers from England. They are pretty impressive little dogs. I'll take pics as soon as she settles down a little.

I have a two and a half year old black male English. Best dog on a dove field I ever had. His name is Deke being male. His mothers name Is Lucy.

Beautiful pup. I like the name "Kate" and it does have an English relevance, i.e. Princess Kate.

My neighbor has several Cocker's. Always male dogs, only one at at time and every new one, to replace the old one, was named Bo.

Pretty dog! I like the sound of Kate. I have heard that single syllable names are easier for dogs to understand when you call them.
