made it down there around 10ish and started down the river, made it to our first stop and got a keeper on the first cast. we made one long drift and ended up with 19 keepers, all went back in the water for another day. i was excited to try out the new trolling motor(i pilot) so went up close around some oyster bars and caught two very nice trout. it was a pretty awesome day on the water yesterday not sure why that boat ramp wasn't filled up. would've stayed longer but the girls had to pee and you know how that goes, so we called it a day at 2. Every trout was caught on a Gulp jerk shad glow, girl threw them under a popping cork and we just jerked them through the water with a jighead. tried other colors but seemed like they where picky, not sure but water was stained pretty good and i completely forgot the water temp. get out there and go get em

I like those kind of reports! Was that gulp a Chart Pepper Neon 5" Jerk Shad Glow?
A 5 gallon bucket works just fine.
Thanks

Nope just straight glow. That's the color of it. Gulp makes alot of colors that glow, but this color was glow only. that's what I said too, but they wheren't having that! We tried plugs for a little bit, but gulp was what they wanted

We got on the water at 11:30 and got off at 5:30 with a two man limit. For every keeper we had to catch at least 3 or 4 14 inch trout. Water temp was 63 when we got on the water and 65 when we left.

Nice haul. How deep were you fishing?

3-4 foot of water the whole time and then the last two fish came out of a creek that we drifted up on. Creek was 1-2 feet depending on where I trolled. Fished the rising tide as well.
