The morning started out a little on the rough side 3-5 seas and about 20 kt. wind stoped 1 time before getting to the bait hole and droped some dead bait down and picked up 1 realy short grouper at bait hole tbe bait fish were slow to bit to day but finaly managed about 20 pig fish, squral fish went to Franklin reef and tried there for about 2 hours not a single fish to be had tried every combination of baits on board didnot even lose a bait there moved back toward shore anout 7 miles to another spot had similar luck there with the exception of 3 shorts some rock bass and some grunts not exactaly a stellar day but better than working or sitting at the dock. One thing I noticed was that there didnot seem to be any current all the lines stayed straight down.? the fish will probibly tear it up for Sat.& Sun. now that I am back at work.
