St. Joe Bay Big Fish

Came home from school for the weekend with another one of the fisheries guys to get a break from all the pre-final mayhem. I decided to go out of St. Joe and try my luck on the backside of the weather system that came through. We woke up at 6 and realized the system had already passed. We got out on that cool morning and worked our way all along 98. Throwing BAB's, mirrodines, and a little evening topwater, we came up with a good amount of fish throughout the day and a few more Sunday before we headed back up Athens.

End result:
12 Keeper trout
15 trout over 20+ released
2 Redfish
4 spanish
4 flounder

To help preserve your "spot" I will say that it was spanish land yesterday. We caught 3 trout out of the area with that one being the largest by far. No hard feelings and next time I'll do a little cropping to the picture!

Brian- Its looking like a big bag tourney again. We were gone at 10am so we could get back up to athens in time to study a bit. I hope I can get all my finals done so I can participate in the tourney. Maybe I'll run into ya next time I come down.
