Got a chance to come down with a friend but the weather has us holding back right now. I really want to go but don't want to spend the gas to watch it rain and the wind blow too bad all day. The St George tower is showing 20kts right now but it looks like the rain is holding off for now. Anybody close down there that can actually see what it's like and let me know?

Luc's out in his Mitzi, hasn't reported back yet. He's watching the weather, but seems fine so far.

Well we went. The wind blew but wasn't terrible except it was too rough with 2 footers out at the bird rack to run east so we did a U turn. I could have done it but if a storm hit I didn't want to have to make that run back. It rained. It rained pretty much all day. You couldn't see the bottom in 2 feet of water because of the cloud cover. But we got on the water and caught a few fish and had a good time. It's amazing how even a bad day on the water is good for the soul.
We fished from the creeks just east of the lighthouse back to the channel then fished the spoil areas and bars and holes west of the channel. We caught a big sail cat, a regular cat, a couple of lady fish, 6 or so short trout, lost a big trout, got one keeper trout and a keeper flounder. Oh and it rained....
