BMAN and BigBendGyrene are out on the water together this morning on the hunt for fork-tailed beasts of the Cobia variety - which means we could be in store for one whopper of a fish story later.
I've been getting texts asking me to look up the bag limit and checking to see if there is a maximum size...clearly these messages are intended to make me jealous...I told bman the fish have to be wider than his butt, that would be a monster!
If you see see a new post by either of these guys in this section this evening, gird your loins before clicking and reading. It promises to be dramatic.

While there may be some truth to your comment above, Joe, let me ASSURE everyone that the guy who owns it now is nowhere near as gentle on the eyes as Celeste. That I'll promise you and am sure you can / do appreciate that I speaketh the truth!
And really do wish I could quickly share a report, but as Barry hinted we got some video I need to go through to do the trip / adventures justice. Promise this... it was a trip out I WON'T soon forget!

From what I've seen on Facebook it was a good day for you guys!!! Can you hurry up with a report? I've got a guy and his kid I'm taking out Saturday and none of us have ever caught a cobia and that is hopefully the plan if it isn't storming. Hopefully I can decipher a few tips from the report.
Congratulations on a great day fishing!
Rhettley, paying the price for the weekday trip with flood of work today so short on time to edit a crazy amount of video.
On the note of y'all going, PM me what launching site you plan on using and how far you're willing to go out with the boy (miles out).
Not just storms you have to worry if you go out but truthfully it's more often a wind problem this time of year if you want to try offshore. Some close in options, though, too, so again, just PM me and I'll offer all I can to help (just as much as any report / past reports would do).

I meant to put a smilie on the hurry up comment. I didn't mean to rush you and was poking a little fun there. I just sent you a pm. I'm looking forward to the video or report. It should be interesting.
