Anyone have any recommendations for someone for prop work? There is a rock in the middle (heading in) just as the river splits that island just down from the ramp in the NWZ that isn't visible or marked. All 3 blades got bent on my buddies prop. Thanks in advance

has anyone actually seen the proceedure Gator props uses to straighten props? I was told by a friend at work that used them a time or two that they use an anvil and a hammer basically and "gets it pretty close", not a machine. It has been several years since he has used them though.

This person now uses and recommended Marine Wheels in PC. Said they use a lazer and get it to within 0.001 and the price was about the same.

I called Gator last year to ask about re-pitching a prop & the lady that answered the phone said they were doing it part-time now. Parkway Marine (site sponsor) uses a shop out of Tampa that comes around once a week a picks up, repairs and then drops off the next week. Parkway can hook you up if don't want to drive to Perry.

Bug Bend Marine sent my prop to the same shop in Tampa came back better than new. Did you check the prop shaft to see if it got bent as well?

Guy in Dothan, Bobby Snellgrove, runs a prop shop and does good work. He is also an authorized Minn Kota service dealer.

HEY DOG, WENT THROUGH YOUR FAIR CITY YESTERDAY MORNIN ABOUT 3 A.M. , I WAS GONNA GIVE YA A RING BUT THEN I THOUGHT TO M SELF, IF THE LITTLE LADY GOT WOKE UP AT THAT TIME OF THE MORNIN YA MIGHT END UP WITH KNOTS ALL OVER YA HEAD. BOY HAS DOTHAN GROWN , THIS IS THE FIRST TIME I HAVE BEEN THROUGH THERE IN ABOUT 15 YEARS.
