My family and I have a chance to go to destin memorial day week/weekend. We are thinking about taking the boat out. Can yall give me any tips/pointers for the area? Where to put in, what areas to avoid, depths of the bay, etc? We are staying in sand-destin. Thanks for yalls help! We are really just wanting to relax so maybe some fishing but mostly just throwing the anchor out and swimming??? Thanks again!

I have used the boat ramp behind McGuires at the bridge between Destin and Ft Walton. There is a fenced in area that you can store your boat when not in use there as well. Crab Island is right there too.
