Thanks to all who gave time, effort and $$$$ to putting together another very successful CCA Banquet last night. My crew and clients at the Meridian Surveying table had a great time and will be back next year.

I saw a lot of familiar faces and went home with two spinning combos, and a 3 day trip to LA with guide service. Eric, my partner here at Meridian got a trip to St. George, and a rod / reel combo.

The funniest part of the entire evening was me stepping outside to call my wife and get the okay to bid the LA trip. My wife was gone to a church meeting and my 10 yr. old son Andrew answered the phone -

Me: "Andrew - let me talk to Mom real quick. I need to know if it's okay to bid on a guided redfishing trip to LA".

Andrew - " Mom's not here, she's at church".

Long pause....

Andrew - "Dad, just go bid on the trip, we can deal with her later !!"

Yeah; thanks CCA for all you do.

I wish I had known about the banquet; I would have used the opportunity to re-up.

Fishin' is the mission.

Had a great time! Came home with a Stick It anchor that's going to get used this weekend.
