Posting a report from a friend. He and his dad fished Sun evening, monday for 6 hrs and Tues morning and ended up with 27 trout and 2 flounder. biggest trout was 28". Live pinfish under a CT in 3-4' of water had the best bite. New penny gulp caught a few fish but no other soft bait caught any keepers. Said the water was gin clear all 3 days. Hotdogs is one heck of a pinfish bait....Fish were caught between Hagans Cove and Yates Creek

Good report!! Hits been hit and miss for me around piney island that last two trips. Havnt tried any pinfish(plenty around) but I do know that a live shrimp is agaranteed catfish if the pins dont get it first! Alot of borderline shorts w some keepers on tuesday. wens I couldnt find the trt, but did catch a few big spanish and then inshore around the oyster bars and got on some decent reds for awhile.
