Third time out since the repairs and the streak continues.
Wanted to take advantage of soft seas to get out one more time before gag season closed.
Only 1 24" gag made it in the box, but the cobia bite was strong.
Landed two 36 inchers quickly.
Then the man (x's 2) shows up for a safety inspection.
Showed him the catch and got a thorough safety once-over.
As he was writing my pass, a flatline blew up and they got to watch us bring in, tag, and release a 44" adult.
Had some epic grouper battles that were lost to the rocks and watched helplessly as a huge cobia grabbed a bait and headed towards Tampa, spooling the reel before we could untie the anchor rope.
2 - 36" cobia
2 big spanish
26" red
and a pile of key west grunts for a fish fry this weekend.
Another great day in out paradise.

Garshk! That's a fine fishing tale.
Fishin' is the mission.

To fish, or not to fish, . . . those are the answers.

Way to get 'er done, Woopty! Couple of weeks since I've been able to get on the water, so living vicariously (and a bit jealously too) through your post!
