7/2
Had the chance to get out after work on Tuesday and the fish were chewing. We decided to wade panacea area and the fish really started firing off after 530pm during the incoming evening tide. All fish were caught on topwaters and soft plastics... in 2-4 feet of water. The water was surprisingly clear considering the influx of freshwater the past few days. I managed to find a nice flounder at the end of the evening to secure the first wading inshore slam of the summer....

7/5
Snuck out again after work again Friday afternoon but the bite was not nearly as good. All of the freshwater had completely blown out the spot. We moved around quite a bit with little luck. It didn't help that a massive front was approaching and decided to kick the wind up to 20 knots making the surface conditions tough to fish in. At the end of the evening Chris got lucky a stuck a good one. Landed a solid mid slot Red to prevent the skunk lol...

Chatted with Don (Greenbone) yesterday and decided to run out of St marks early and look for some reds and trout. We fished our arses off for the gingers but just could not connect. I think all of the freshwater really has em on the move
The reds disappointed us but the trout and flounder were around. We caught 5 really nice trout with big fish going 21". We fished from 3-5 feet of water with soft plastics today. At the end of the day I got a solid hit and thought red at first but soon felt the trashbag like fight at the other end of the line lol...in comes an 18.5" flounder
Had a good time fishing today and boy does that Maverick cut the waves...nice ridin' around in Caddilac today
