Just a heads-up to everyone, and a reminder that there is an invasion underway....

This invasion has the potential to affect everyone of us, and it is time to spread the word. Though it is a rather long article it will be time well spent.

I have been thinking about this... I won't relay worry much until they show up on the flats, which I estimate will be a few years down the road... There will be one positive thing; you will be able to harvest lion fish along with your scallops. They will make a great side dish...

“We had caught four red grouper in the 26- to 28-inch range and threw them in the bottom of the boat and put our hooks back in the water, and I happened to notice one of them had coughed up a lionfish,” said Harold “Snook” Robinson of Bokeelia.

This is a map of the invasion dated "1992". I wonder how much farther they have spread since then.
