Having only run out of Mashes Sands once, does anyone know how the channel is and entrance to the ramp is depth wise at low tide ?

Thanks

Low tide isn't to bad. Probably got about 2 foot of water down the middle. Negative tide it gets dang skinny.

Dang it, I was out there yesterday and can't remember what depth readings I saw. Fishing was slow yesterday, nothing but cha bel cats and a shark.

Just went and pulled the boat out at lunch. Tide was 2.3 feet. My depth finder is the lowest point of my boat in the water at about 1.5 feet. The shallowest it read was 2.0 feet coming into the ramp. So doing that math at a dead low tide you are looking at 1.2 feet of water. It's just sand so I guess you could always push your way through if you had to. It's just one brief spot to. You will be able to see it because there is a nice sand bar on either side. With all that being said I'll give my GPS disclaimer "This is to be used for reference only and not for navigational purposes.". :D There I've done my PSA for the day.
