Though the boat made Knowles, which is the same as my PH16 goes for $50,000 for a plywood boat :smt017 ..Go figure it ain't worth a chit or it's gold plated

Is it the material or the method? I think this boat will have decent resale value.

To me, Jacques Merten's boats, no matter how wonderful they may be, still look like they are made out of sheets of plywood.

It's public opinion, open up your new Florida Sportsman or boat mag. you will read somewhere in there "NO WOOD" construction.

Though composite houses have not caught on well either :smt102

Mr. Mertens has his evils, but I have seen ten fold the number of boats built on his site than any of the others.

They are having a little get together in Jacksonville next weekend you should ride down and check out the bateaus.

I agree that people have a thing about the "no wood no rot" hoo hah. What I'm saying is that a lot of folks would give their left nut to own that Paul Mann boat. Does a boat have to be worth a few million dollars to be desirable if it's made out of wood?

I have an appointment with a 100 lb Cobia next weekend, she is swimming north even as I type.
