We put in about 6:30am, the surface temps were in the high 70s with wind out of the east later in the morning. The major feeding time was supposed to be until 7, so it was underway when we arrived at our spot. I cut the motor 100yds out and trolled in, and drifted the last 20 yds before anchoring. My stealth paid off, and I immediately caught fish over the spot we had just drifted in over. We had strong morning and boated about 70 fish kept about 40 all of which were between 8-10.5". We had lots of 1lb BG and shellcrackers. We caught everything up until past noon. The majority were caught during and just after the major feeding period this morning. The fish left the feeding area starting at around 7am and moved to structure just slightly offshore by 9am, and slowly moved out far offshore by 1pm. Another great morning on Lake Jackson!
edit: we had 49 keepers
