W. Stanley (Sandy) Proctor, who was inducted into the Florida Artists Hall of Fame in 2006, is featured in an exhibit “Watercolors and More” on September 22, 2012. The art exhibit will be held at Jubilee Cottage at Goodwood Museum and Gardens from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm.
Sandy has completed a new selection of original watercolors, pastels, and oils. The paintings focus on regional places, scenery and buildings that he finds nostalgic and beautiful. Sandy painted old buildings, such as an old fish house from the 1940s, to preserve and remember them. Sandy presents realistic scenes of sea birds, dunes, docks and beaches that he loves and has enjoyed his entire life. Additionally, Sandy will be presenting a collection of transparent watercolor portraits.
Please join us and enjoy the exhibit. For more information, call 850-562-0000.
