St. Marks- the fort

I was told the gate is closed and locked. The guberment has it shut down. A buddy was going to go mullet fishing tomorrow but he was sent a pic today showing the gate. Can anyone confirm?

I highly doubt it's the fort....the reserve is however....

Tallahassee FL- Plans to go fishing, hiking, boating, or sightseeing at Saint Marks National Wildlife Refuge will have to be put on hold. National Parks are also closed during the partial Federal Government shut down.

So the road out to the St Marks lighthouse is closed and locked off at the guard shack? I had a friend bringing her daughter from Atl to FSU this weekend that thought they might go out there for a look at the natural areas and light house.
