Yes we were too shallow... Really rough so we could not get to the areas we really wanted to fish. Were stuck closer in at 80feet. I also think the front had the bite messes up.
Cigar minnows were the best bait.
Here was the big one for the day
It's fillets equaled 2 from the other legal fish.

I was thinking the same thing, BBG. I didn't think a 11 3/4" snapper was legal.

I'm glad to see your snapper trip went better than mine. We didn't even make it out of the pass on Tuesday.
