Anyone fished around St Marks this week? Was going to try it this weekend and was curious if things were starting to pick up yet.

Thanks all. I am heading that way tomorrow. Will fish tomorrow afternoon, all day Saturday and Sunday morning. Hopefully I will be able to post a good report on Monday.

Fished Friday afternoon on the west flats. Water was still a little stained but still managed 2 trout at 19 inches each and 10 nice sand trout. Probably caught 50 sand trout in all. All fish were caught in 6-7 feet of water. On Saturday I decided to go East RIver in search of Redfish and only managed a few puppy reds. I was fishing with live shrimp. The people who invested the time to catch pinfish did really well around the oyster bars in the mouth of the east river. This is a constant learning process.

I fished the RG Sunday at dawn, before the tide went negative. Caught a double limit of Trout in the hour or so after dawn, before the tide bottomed out. All around 19", all on topwater in less than 3'. Couple Macks at 5-6' on shrimp.
