Fished St George yesterday at the state park with my son- because of the NNE wind, we fished the entire day at Rattlesnake cove. Not as active as last week and not near as much baitfish in the shallows, but still had a decent day.
Ended up with 5 flounder, 2 sand trout and a big ladyfish. The flounder went 18", 14", 12.5", 12.5" and a short. Kept the two biggest and one my son caught on a mirrodine. Everything else went back. The fish came on white/pink marabou and ostrich clousers. I lost a lot of flies on the bottom but it was a fair trade for flounder. The water was dirtier than last week and it was a cool cloudy day - summer is def. over. A few pics:
