Lanark 11/22

I am finally getting a little better down in the Lanark area. Headed out Friday with just me and the dog. Stopped at Hardees for a quick sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit. We were on the water just after 7:30. Very nice air temp at around 55ish with very minimal breeze. Luckily with a more eaterly wind we actually had plenty of water to launch the Hewes.
Started off with top water and had some really good action till right about the time the tide switched. Lost at least a dozen trout/reds due to treble hooks coming undone.
Total tally for the day was 2 reds and 2 trout. Has the boat back on the trailer at 2:00 with plenty of fish for me and the wife.
