Motor Position

I'm just curious, how do you guys position your motor when it's at home on the trailer. I have always removed the transom saver and brought the motor down to the lowest position so there would be no pressure on the hydraulics. I also think that it is better for the motor to be in a level position for extended periods of time. As I look around, I see most motors stored in a tilted position just like they are when trailered. I have had numerous boats and have always done this. I was wondering if anyone else is as anal as me about it.

I do the same as you but for this reason. The water drains in the level, down position and prevents possible freezing issues.

Drop it down and often put a stick of 1x4 between motor and top of hydraulics to stop water incursion and cushion.
