Freeze warnings and boats.

It's going to get COLD tonight and tomorrow night. Along with all the usual precautions around the house don't forget to tilt your outboards all the way down to drain any water out that could freeze. Pull the plugs on any wells or drains too so you don't bust any pipes or hoses in the boat.

Great advice.... after learning the hard way, I always wrap the lower unit with a heated pipe cable just to be safe

100 watt bulb and a blanket over mine

just don't let the bulb get to close to the blanket or you'll have a nice fire boat

When it gets below freezing, I kick my truck out of the garage and bring the boat in. I have had some bad issues in the past with freezing water! There is always water somewhere in a boat.
