The wife and my boy went down to the museum to check this out today. Pretty cool to see all of the old reels and rods.

Attended the opening reception and heard Mike Rivkin's excellent talk on sport fishing's impact on WWII. He graciously signed his book to add to my collection.

The exhibit is very well done with lots of antique tackle, lures, tournament trophies, art and tons of historical photographs and explanations on the history of the sport in the Sunshine State. Some interactive stuff for the kids as well.

Definitely worth an hour or two to stop by while it's in town, especially on a windy or rainy day. The exhibit and parking are both free.
