I ripped this off of another board

If you want to clean your spoons, its easy

I got some of that CLR (Calcium, Lime, Rust) cleaner at Home Depot

Came home, got two little disposable Zip Lock brand tupperware containers

Silver spoons in one
Gold spoons in the other

Pour in some CLR until the spoons are submerged, let it sit overnight

Then the next day, dump the CLR, rinse off the spoons with water and then fill the containers with water, let them (the spoons) soak again for a couple hours

Your spoons will look darn like new

Especially for gold ones, those get pretty nasty, now you can keep them longer

CLR works on toilets too, so pour it in the toilet for a kitchen pass to go fishing.
