Piney Z 3-27-2014

My wife and I dropped the kids off at preschool around 9am and shot to Piney Z for a couple hours of fishing. The weather was cloudy and windy with the temp hovering the mid 50s. C'mon hot weather! My wife landed her first bass ever at Piney Z around 10:30am on finger 6. Definitely under a pound. 30 min later on the same finger she broke her all time record and landed this 3lb 15oz beaut! She caught them all on a weighted texas rigged Strike King Shim-e-Stick smokey shad color. I....struck out today, hard to complain when your wife is having an awesome time fishing next to you!
