My fishing partner and I hit the LH a little after 9 to sit and wait on the tide to start coming back in. The magic didn't work too well today and had to let 15 go and only brought 1 for the pan.

We fed alot of Scott's shrimp to benefit fish growth on the flats. Didn't see the 1st Spanish - anyone else see them? Went East and out a ways but caught most very close in in about 3'.

The paint peeled more and the grass grew while we were away.. but it was a beautiful day with my 9 yr old - felt proud when one Gheenoe'r said he couldn't get his daughter out with him! Left around 3:30.

Managed ta wet my Red Dot twice today Fresh water this morning at the city park "a 5 and 2 pound Bass" before the T-Ball game at 8:30 and Salt "5 Trout between 16 and 24 inches" after the ball game I can honestly say that none of the fish were close to being a match for the reel it performed magnificently

Dixiereb and I stop short of our fishing mark for the day and throw out light tackle with a hibachi rig tied on the end and catch as small a pin fish as possible till we get enough to go on out. Then we hook that little fishey under a cajun thunder or bait mate if the pin is too large. Let that little guy get out there and do his thing while we cast out catch 2000's or grubs. Nothing like having the guy in the back of the boat have a big trout or shark slam dunk his CT while you bring in one on a catch 2000 in the front.
We have tried live shrimp in the past but never been able to catch anything for the bait stealing pins so we decided to catch them and use them instead.
