Public Reef GPS Numbers: Just in time for grouper season.

If anyone needs it, I threw together GPX files with all of the Big Bend public reefs and a trackline on the State/Federal water boundary. All info comes from FWC's data.

The GPX files should be able to load directly into any modern GPS. Just copy it to a memory card, plug the card into the GPS, and follow the steps to import waypoints or data files. (Check your instruction manual.)

If for some reason you're getting errors during import, let me know and post up a different version of the files.

Here's a preview of the files on Google Maps

Here's the download link for the Waypoints File

Here's the download link for the State/Federal waters boundary line.

Good luck!

Those are also available here on the Big Bend site:
http://www.bigbendfishing.net/information/area-charts/

It has the area public numbers along with a lot of the rock garden rocks... not all of them but a lot ;-)

Do you want me to convert those to GPX format for you? Might save a lot of folks from having to key them in manually.

That would be great! I was going to PM you to see if we could cross reference the lists.
Looks like we both have some the other list does not have...
