Well First real fishing trip out with my boy Nathan. headed out of Lanark at high noon, cloudy skies with temperatures in the mid 70's. Water was stained and very dark after one croaker on first spot, headed east to second spot. best decision made as Spanish were going nuts. Water temps were right at 72 degrees, which was a lot warmer than last time out at 59 degrees. Water clarity was dismal with very dark water. Four trout, two at 18" two shorts. four keeper Spanish mackerel one at 18". all fish caught under corks on live shrimp. fished till we ran out of live ones and my boy was tuckered out. Wonderful day on the water as winds were good and cloud cover made it awesome.
