St. Marks today

Post by OneTripletail »

Boy was it windy at St Marks today. The fish were hit and miss today. Ended up with nine trout between 16-19 in, 1 15 in flounder and about 15-20 short trout. We had to work hard all day for these fish. Oh did I mention a huge red bull in the 25 pound range. He hit a gulp on 10 pound test. It took 20 mins to get him to the boat. We couldn't believe it.

All fish were caught on gulp and suspended plugs. Water never got over 68.2 and clarity was like tea. All in all we had a great day even if we all got windburned.

Maybe Red Bull should change their drink can design and slogan, and put a bull red on it. "Red Bull gives you fins!"
